- I'm an English major, working on my MA. I will continue on for my doctorate, also in English, and couldn't be in a better field, as I love to read and study. I drink copious amounts of coffee and read everything I can get my hands on. I loathe academic elitists who feel that quoting Aristotle and flaunting the "important" authors they have read place them a cut above everyone else. I don't turn up my nose at any reading material, but am willing to acknowledge that occasionally I read smut. And, there's nothing wrong with that. Everyone should read a little smut sometimes.
